An American Ghost Hunter

An American Ghost Hunter Makes Speech in Lincoln
by Elizabeth Lewy

Chad Calek, an American ghost Hunter, husband, and producer of Paranormal State and The Ghost Prophecies, gave a speech at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. The experiences he told about were amazing, as the screen before us replayed the true evidence of the spirit world.  He explained how he tried every way possible to debunk the situation at hand and the voices he heard, as well as a few ideas for ghost hunting of your own.
Chad grew up in a small town in Iowa and later went to Iowa State University. He never thought twenty years ago that he would ever be here standing in front of an eager listening crowd of believers and superstitious beings nor did he think that he would ever be searching for ghosts. Now he is married to a school teacher whom every once in a while goes along on trips with him and his crew.
He gave a few tips for anyone wanting to enter this field in the future, or anyone in the field already:
*Make an argument to the skeptical side that ghosts are real.
*Never EVER give up on your footage!
*“Solo ghost hunting” is permitted. It is better when you’re alone because there is much less contamination of evidence, but, yes, it can be scary.
I asked one question. “How would you go ghost hunting and how would you show your evidence, if you were an Indigo Child?” I thought I stumped him. He struggled with a response and even struggled just to begin.
“That’s a good question,” he said, still struggling to answer. “You know I think that’s the hardest question I ever heard.” The way he explained was kind of randomly put and didn’t make much sense--until I replayed my recording.
The way most psychics record their experiences is by writing it down or saying it aloud in front of a camera.
Another question I’ve been asking myself is, ‘how does someone get into ghost hunting, when so young and being an Indigo?’
Just find the closest paranormal society near you and contact them. Go online and find blogs on facebook or yahoo. If you don’t have internet then just start talking about it. That’s how I got started with a lot of people, although I’m not into the field just yet, I’m working on it.
The entire experience with Chad was amazing. His evidence was true to his word and turned many skeptics into believers with just the first piece of evidence. I suggest getting to know him online at www.aghnation.com or going to twitter @aghchad, @aghjoe, and @trueplayajuice.

Our amazing young people

Yesterday I had the honor and privilege of sitting with a group of remarkable, amazing young people. You would pass these kids on the street and think that they were ordinary kids, going to school and hanging with their friends and family. Little would you know that these kids are all highly intuitive.

Intuitive? You aren't sure what intuition is, are you? Intuition can be when you have a gut feeling - your gut is telling you something is right, or bad. You might call them "vibes". You have dreams that come true the next day, or some time in the future. You may just "know" something. Have you ever seen something that no one else was able to see. Or has someone whispered something in your ear but no one was there? These are all part of being intuitive.

Clairsentient is where you feel or touch something and know things about the object, like who owned it, or who gave it to someone, possibly even if the person is missing what happened to them..

Clairvoyant is where you see things in dreams or visions.

Clairaudient is where you hear things.

Claircognizance is when you just know things.

Clairgustance is when you can taste something but you haven't had it in your mouth.

Clairalience is when you smell something that isn't there.

There are also so many other things involved with intuition. Like if you know what someone may be thinking or going to say. Have you ever been able to finish someone's sentence for them? My husband and I used to do this to each other. Even when we'd only been married for a short period of time we were able to finish each others sentences. We were "on the same page" as my grandmother used to say.

We all have intuition. Men don't usually call it intuition, it's a "gut" feeling for them. More manly, I guess. Alot of people may call it "paranormal" or "psychic".

Have you ever thought that possibly this is the way the world will be headed? A world where we can talk to people with our minds and never have to vocalize our thoughts again? Something to think about isn't it?

I remember when I was living in Georgia my mother was ill. I was getting ready to move back to Nebraska and was packing some boxes. My phone rang and I picked up the receiver. Without saying hello or even hearing who was on the other line, I asked "What happened to Mom?" Anyone else would have thought I was crazy, but I had a connection - a link - with my sister or my mother at that moment in time. They were calling out to me with their mind, but also with the telephone. It was my sister on the other end telling me my mother's condition was worse.

Have you had any experiences like this that you can't explain? How about coincidences? There are no coincidences. It's all planned. You are supposed to be there at that moment in time, doing whatever it is you are supposed to be doing or meeting whomever you are supposed to meet.

That's what these kids are all about. They are being taught not to be afraid of what they see and hear. They are learning how to use their abilities to help themselves and others. I was totally impressed with their behaviors and their outstanding attitudes. I look forward to sharing time with them in the future.

Namaste
